Branscombe Marine Consultants can provide expert advice on salvage, towage, accidents and casualties worldwide, and marine operations in Hong Kong waters. Alan Loynd has been accepted as an expert by marine and criminal courts in various jurisdictions.
We can advise on environmental initiatives and strategies, particularly for towage companies. We also have experience in pollution clean-up, oil spill equipment, the collection and disposal of floating refuse and the transportation of domestic waste by ship from collection points to landfills.
We have a great deal of experience in investigating the causes of accidents and casualties and suggesting realistic measures to prevent them in future. Practical advice is provided from a mariner’s perspective, and in a way that other mariners and managers can understand.
With many years of salvage and towage experience, we are ideally placed to advise owners or managers on all aspects of the business. Our services include advising companies which are faced with a salvage emergency, or assisting them to set up proper emergency response measures in advance.
We can also advise on complex towing operations, assist in investigating new markets, inspect existing vessels or comment upon the plans of new buildings.
We have links to a company which can provide excellent training for tugmasters on all types of propulsion and control systems. This is not a service we provide at Branscombe Marine Consultants but, as with all other enquiries, we will attempt to introduce customers to the best in the business if we cannot undertake the work ourselves.
